How is the wall art made?
All of our art prints are original digital illustrations and collages created by us, the Two Little Fruits. Each print is an acrylic transfer. We apply the gel to one of our prints, then apply the print to a 3/4" Baltic Birch plywood block. Once the print is dry we meticulously rub all of the paper away. Since the medium is a clear gel, each print has a depth and waxy feel that is akin to encaustic art. Each art print is varnished, sanded and you get to choose between natural, distressed gray or black for the side finish color. Wall art is handmade to order, which allows each piece to be unique in it's own way. Check out our video HOW IT'S MADE to learn more.
